There were two jackpot winners in the Feb. 28 Powerball drawing, and I’ll tell you why.

Besides being extraordinarily lucky, the Power ball was a 7 and a large number of players always bet “lucky” 7.

I’m so happy for the winners, who played in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

I played in Pennsylvania and I was not one of the winners. Oh, well.

The winning numbers were 3,16,20,42,58 and the Power ball was 7. The Power Play multiplier was 5.

The winners will equally share the jackpot, meaning each ticket is worth approximately $87.2 million.

2 tickets matched the first five numbers. Bought in Kentucky and New Hampshire, they are each worth $200,000.

The streak to $173 million began on Jan. 21 and went through 11 draws before the Feb. 28 winning draws.

Congratulations, all you winners.

GAMES WE PLAY:

This makes the Mega Millions jackpot of $212 million the biggest jackpot currently in the world. The next drawing  is Mar. 3.  So if you live near a Mega Millions state (there are 12 of them), play!

The next Powerball game carries a $20 million jackpot.

The next Euro Millions game is the second biggest current jackpot in the world, at 100 million Euros, or about $126.8 million U.S.

Good luck, players.
