Twice is nice, they say. I usually don’t write about people without naming them (if you win be PROUD), but I do love stories about multiple winners.
A very lucky Pocomoke City, Maryland man hit two Maryland Lottery scratch game tickets twice in less than six months.
I don’t know what he’s doing right, but it must be something. Talk about good karma.
The winner claimed a $50,000 Queen of Hearts top prize today, topping his $30,000 American Classics win from April 1st.
The 57-year-old winner scratched his latest winning ticket in his truck, outside of the store where it was purchased. He called his wife as soon as he won. I was in the grocery store when he called and I could hardly hear him, his wife said.
All I heard was $5,000 and I said okay and hung up the phone. It wasn’t until she got home that she found out it was actually 10 times $5,000.
We didn’t mention it the last time we were here, but it must be our lucky Yorkshire terrier name Keno that has brought us all this Lottery luck, they both agreed. The win came just in time for their 30th wedding anniversary on September 30th.
The lucky winner wanted to get a new heating system last time he won. He didn’t get it back then, but plans on using some of his new prize money to purchase it and to pay off his car.
If you’ve won twice or more…let me know. I’ll put you in my next lottery book. My third.
By the way, the book (thanks to you all) is selling well. Check it out. Click on the book cover to your right.
And let me know what you think.
GAMES WE PLAY:
There was no jackpot winner in the Sept. 23 POWERBALL game so the big prize skyrockets to $150 million.
The Sept. 25 Mega Millions jackpot is up to a very respectable $75 million.
And Euro Millions starts all over again, after the 100 million euro jackpot, last week, was won by a group of 15 players in France. This week, Sept. 25, the jackpot starts all over at 15 million euros.
Good luck, everyone.
