I know this isn’t a mega big win.

Yeah…we mostly cover big winners. But I love stuff like this. Happy birthday stories.

Joseph Cambre of Prairieville claimed a $12,000 top prize from a Gifts scratch-off at Lottery headquarters.

Joseph Cambre of Prairieville got quite the birthday gift when he won a $12,000 top prize from the Louisiana Lottery’s new Gifts scratch-off.

“I decided on Gifts because the cashier told me it was a new game,” said Cambre, age 24. “I scratched it and couldn’t believe I won!”

Cambre said he plans to use his winnings to pay off his truck and fly to Tampa to celebrate his birthday with his family.

If you happen to be in Louisiana reading this, Gifts is a $2 game that features 10 chances to win on each ticket. The game has four $12,000 top prizes remaining as of Nov. 16.

GAMES WE PLAY:

The Powerball jackpot on Dec. 5 is $41 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot on Dec. 4 is $69 million.

And the Euro Millions jackpot for Dec. 4 is 29 million euros, or about $43 million USD.

Good luck everyone.
