If you believe the Mail newspaper in the U.K. (where I read this report), if you want to win a U.K. lottery, play in Ilford, a part of Greater London.
According to figures released by the National Lottery group, Ilford is where more people hit the jackpot than anywhere else in the UK.
Winners in the area, in Greater London, have picked up £87million since draws began in 1994.
Not interested in Ilford? Try Newcastle.
Second in the lucky list was Newcastle, where one in 6,207 residents has won the top prize, followed by Medway Towns, Kent, in third place.
The National Lottery said: Congratulations to Ilford, the luckiest place to live.
In all, nationwide, more than 2,500 UK players have joined the Millionaires’ Club.
So next time I’m in the U.K., I know where I’m buying my ticket.
How about you?
If anyone from London is reading this, let me know if you think this is all rubbish.
