Evelyn Hulme of Virginia Beach went to the grocery store to buy some bananas, but instead she bought a$100,000 Riches Scratcher ticket from the Virginia Lottery.

When she scratched the ticket and realized she’d won the $100,000 top prize, she left the store and forgot the bananas!

Well, she can always go another time.

She bought the winning ticket at the Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach.

After leaving the store with the winning ticket, she went straight to the Virginia Lottery customer service center in Hampton. She told Lottery officials she wanted to get the big check so she could surprise her husband.

Hulme said she has no immediate plans for her winnings.
