Charles in Charge: Virginian Pockets $100,000 (Before Taxes, of Course)

Charles Ragusa of Falls Church, Virginia, probably won’t forget the numbers 1, 5, 8, 17 and 21 any time soon.

He’s been playing those numbers for years in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game.

And it finally paid off.

Big time.

When all five of them were drawn in the April 29 Cash 5 night drawing, he won the top prize of $100,000.

He bought his winning ticket at Giant supermarket  in Falls Church.

He told Virginia Lottery officials he has no immediate plans for his winnings.

But that won’t last for long.

Best of luck to you, Charles.
