A Steamy Win: Georgia Powerball Player (from Tennessee) Hits For $200,000, Not a Bad Second-Tier Prize

Despite steamy temperatures, one man has won a cool Georgia Lottery prize in north Georgia.

James Moulder,  of Chattanooga, Tenn., retiree, matched the first five winning numbers of the June 8 Powerball drawing, winning a $200,000 prize.

I was looking at the computer, and I turned it off and back on, Moulder recalled upon discovering his prize.

Winning numbers from the June 8 drawing were: 14-37-44-45-53 and the Powerball was 29.

Moulder, 59, and his wife, Lee, live in East Ridge, Tenn. He worked for the city of Chattanooga for 30 years before retiring from his position as supply manager in 2005.

I plan to pay off my home mortgage, the father of two shared.

Good for you, man.
