To the thousands of you who regularly read this blog, I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving Day, ate a lot of turkey … and spent quality time with family and friends.
May you win lotteries wherever you play in the upcoming year.
Meanwhile, OK…. I spent Thanksgiving on line to buy a 42 inch TV at basement prices. Spent 17 freaking hours in the cold… standing up… but in the end, it was worth it. Started in the morning and finished at 3 a.m. eastern time.
And here is the lottery peg: the very first guy on line had won (last year) a $250,000 a Year for Life scratch game card.
Crazy guy. But fun loving.
Figure that after taxes, he was taking in about $167,000 a year.
Not too bad, eh?
Also met a Canadian couple who regularly played Loto Max, the national Canadian Lottery (top prize is $50 million Canadian dollars).
Then, on the way home I picked up some scratch games (I lost) and a Powerball ticket.
Life goes on.
More about winners tomorrow.
Peace, everyone. And love.
