Whatta “Blast”! Georgia Scratcher Wins $1,000,000

A Lizella, Georgia woman is celebrating a win from the Georgia Lottery. Jackie Tingle, 67, won a $1 million prize playing the instant game $100 Million Cash Blast.

She purchased her winning ticket in Macon, home of the Allman Brothers Band, I might add.

A legal secretary, Tingle purchased the ticket while on her lunch break.

I scratched it in the car, she explained. I was riding, and my son was driving.

Shocked and surprised at her discovery, the pair pulled to the side of the road.

I was going back to work, she said. Of course I’m excited and happy.

Tingle and her husband, James, have no immediate plans for the windfall.

I don’t know yet, maybe a nest egg kind of thing, she said. I think it’s amazing.

So do we. Awesome.
