William Runnels of Indianapolis is the first lucky player to claim a $250,000 top prize on the Hoosier Lottery’s new poker lottodraw game.

William said he took a chance on the new game because he is a fan of card games.

“I like cards, but I’m not that good at poker,” said William. “I saw on television where it said to say ‘deal me in,’ so I told the clerk to ‘deal me in,’ and she dealt me in!”

William purchased his winning ticket in Indianapolis.
