A kitchen manager scooped the UK’s biggest ever scratchcard jackpot of £4MILLION ($5.8 million in U.S. dollars) while on his dinner break – but then went back to finish his shift, according to a report in England’s Daily Main newspaper.

I mean, wouldn’t you to back to work?

Amadou Gillen, 46, bought two scratchcards from a newsagents during a 12-hour shift.

He lit a cigarette and scratched the first to win a small amount – but the second one revealed he had become a multi-millionaire.

The shocked father-of-two, Amadou did not tell anyone, and went on to work for another four hours with the card in his pocket before finishing his shift.

He only broke the news to his family the next day and while he has splashed out on a new wardrobe, he shopped at his usual stores because he ‘still loves a bargain’.

The former McDonalds apprentice f, is going to spend the cash on trading his one-bed rentedapartment for a modest three-bed home in Bristol.
