Christopher Cummins, 44, of Okeechobee, Florida, claimed a $1 million prize in the $5,000,000 FLAMINGO MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game, after moving to Florida from Ohio only six months ago.

Quite a nice welcome to Florida gift, don’t you think?

Cummins chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $784,427.20.

Cummins said he won a $1,000 prize on two different Scratch-Off tickets in the past few weeks.

“I was actually on my way down to the Lottery’s District Office to cash those in when I decided to stop and buy another ticket; that’s when I got the million-dollar winner!”
