When I write about the big multi state games I normally write about the jackpot winners. But, fact is, there are thousands of winners every drawing…some as small as $1…others (second prize) a million bucks.

And so it happend in Michigan, where a Mount Pleasant man has claimed a $1 million Mega Millions prize.

Herman Lauer matched the five white balls drawn ” 25-48-51-65-72 ” in the Tuesday, June 7, drawing to win a $1 million prize.

He bought his winning ticket at the Kroger store located at 4080 East Blue Grass Road in Mount Pleasant, near the campus of Central Michigan University.

Lauer plans to use his winnings to pay for his children’s and grandchildren’s education.

According to the Michigan Lottery folks, Lauer is the third Michigan player to win $1 million playing the Mega Millions game this year.
