A hand is scratching a lottery ticket

Willie Ramos and Hernando Manalo were all smiles as they walked into the California Lottery’s Santa Fe Springs District Office.

That’s because these two young gentlemen were proudly representing the group of 18 Union Pacific Railroad workers who matched five of six Mega Millions numbers to win $900,790!

Ramos and Manalo, who have been friends for 35 years, said the original group has been playing the Lottery together for over 20 years!

Although the group was ecstatic to win, they were admittedly a little bummed about missing the $251 million jackpot by just the Mega number, especially because they had the correct Mega number on the line right below! After all is said and done, each member will be receiving $50,043 before federal taxes, which is by far the biggest win for the group.
